Welcome to our Champions for Children and Youth 2008 BC Summit wrap-up webpage. The Summit was a unique two-day event, held October 20-21 in Vancouver, that identified and explored critical issues and emerging opportunities facing British Columbia's most vulnerable children and youth. It also looked at our collective roles and responsibilities as parents, communities, corporations and governments. The Summit's impressive speakers, knowledgeable panellists and committed delegates came together to shape a future that protects and improves the well-being of these children.
Throughout these pages, you will find video summaries of the various panels and presentations, photos, as well as all of the literature distributed at the event. I encourage you check in with us regularly for announcements about future Summits.
